Padel racket deals: how to spot a real discount

A padel racket deal is only a deal if today's price is lower than what the racquet usually sells for, not just lower than a crossed-out number. The lists above show the racquets and shoes furthest below their reference price today; this page explains how to check whether each one is genuinely cheap. What makes a discount real?

A retailer's crossed-out price is a starting point, not proof. Some shops keep showing the brand's launch price long after the market has moved on, so "−40%" can simply be the normal price. PadelRadar, the padel price comparison site, gives you three better reference points on every product page:

A simple rule: if today's price equals or beats the 3-month low, it's a good price. If it's also close to the all-time low, it's an excellent one. If it's well above both, the "sale" is mostly marketing. Our page on how padel price history works goes into more detail.

How does the PadelRadar deals page work?

Once a day we look at every in-stock product and keep those whose cheapest price is at least 15% below the retailer's own crossed-out price. They're sorted by the biggest discount first. The lists above show the top of that ranking for racquets and shoes (for shoes, see also our padel shoe deals); the full list, including other gear, is on the deals page.

Two things to keep in mind:

• A big percentage on an old model can be less interesting than a small one on the racquet you actually want.
• Prices can change between two daily updates. Always confirm the price on the retailer's site before paying.

When do padel racquets go on sale?

Discounts follow the padel calendar:

• New model launches. When a brand releases the next year of a model, shops cut the price of the previous version to clear stock. This is usually the best moment to buy a specific racquet.
• Seasonal sales. January and summer sales, then Black Friday, which falls on 27 November in 2026.
• End-of-line clearance. When a model is discontinued, retailers discount the last units.

Is last season's racquet a good deal?

Often, yes. Brands update most ranges every year, and the changes between two versions of the same model are often modest: new graphics, a tweak to the surface or the core. If last year's version fits your game, it's frequently the easiest way to pay less. Compare both versions on PadelRadar before deciding.
