Padel Racquet Prices in Europe: What We Learned Tracking 20+ Retailers
We analyzed padel racquet prices across European retailers. Here is what we found about pricing patterns, seasonal sales, and where to find the best deals.
We built PadelRadar to solve a personal frustration: padel racquet prices vary wildly between retailers, and there was no easy way to compare them. After months of tracking, here is what the data shows.
Price Differences Are Bigger Than You Think
The same racquet frequently shows a 25–40% price difference between retailers. For a popular mid-range racquet (retail price around €150), that means you could pay anywhere from €95 to €155 depending on where you shop.
The cheapest retailer is not always the same. Retailer A might have the best price on Brand X, while Retailer B wins on Brand Y. This is exactly why a comparison tool matters.
Seasonal Patterns Are Real
Our data shows clear seasonal trends:
- January–February: Post-holiday clearance. Previous-year models drop 20–40%.
- March–April: New models launch. Prices are highest for new releases, but outgoing models get steeper discounts.
- June–July: Summer sales across European retailers.
- September–October: Second wave of new models.
- November: Black Friday delivers genuine 15–30% discounts on many models.
The Best Strategy
Based on our data, the optimal buying strategy is:
- Decide what you want before sale season hits
- Set a price alert on PadelRadar at your target price
- Buy last-generation models when the new version launches
- Compare across countries — Spanish retailers often have the best prices, even accounting for shipping
